Best young German Footballers

The last post was about german promisses for football in the future but today I'll write about footballers that already are a reality! Everyone remember the last World Cup and the German boys impressioned the whole world with their talent. At the moment, the main players in this position are: Mesut Özil (Real Madrid), Thomas Müller and Toni Kroos (Bayern Munich). Actually, on DFB page there's alot of young players on main team, I'll write about them in the next post.

1. Thomas Müller

Müller was a sucess on last World Cup. But only two years before that, the young player was unknown even in his own land. In one year player took off! He arrived to the Bayern main team for the 2009/2010 season, when he showed his talent for world at the European fields.

2010 was a golden year fot Thomas Müller. He played on March his first match with the Mannschaft shirt, he was one of the most important players in his team on World Cup, he received the Hyundai Best Young Player Award in South Africa and his 5 goals and 2 appearences has gave to him the Golden Boots Award, all that for a 20 years old footballer! Only Pelé overwhelms him with six goals in Sweden in 1958 when he was 17 years old and .Incredible! =D

Currently he’s playing in his team Bayern Munich the Bundesliga (German championiship) and the UEFA Champions League. For the last comp, the next game is against Inter.  We hope see more a Thomas Müller show!

2. Mesut Özil

Intelligence, ability, class are only some word for describe the Özil style at the field. At the end of World cup  the majority of the biggest Europeam teams wanted to have the boy from Gelsenkirchen. But who won the dispute was José Mourinho and now the Özil is a “galatic”, and with Cristiano ronaldo, Di maria and others awesome players., he is the fans hope titles.

The footballer of Turkish descent participated of U-21 European title in 2009. On 2009/2010 Bundesliga season, the player scored 13 goals and had 8 appearances in werder Bremen, his old team. And now, the footballer is one of the mais pieces of Mourinho in Real Madrid because of the criativity that he brings to the middle of the team. It’s better the Brazilians open the eyes coz Neymar and Ganso aren’t the only young awesome players in this world! :P

3. Toni Kroos

I already have a post here about Toni Kroos, so I’ll write less about this player. He played the U-17 World Cup on 2007 and won the award like the best footballer of the competition. In the 2009/2010 season, when he was only 19 years old, the young boy was already a professional and was a sucess on Bayer Leverkusen team. He also was in last World cup with the German team and in currently season he’s playing in the biggest team from germany with Thomas Müller. Kroos isn’t more the German football future but already is the present. As the Bayern as the German National team needs him on middlefield.

German young promisses

This Bundesliga season has revealed a lot of young talented footballers. Today I will write a bit about some of these boys.

Mario Götze

Date of Birth

Country
Germany
Height
171 cm
Weight

Position
Midfielder
Shirtnumber

01.07.2001

Mario Götze plays on Borussia Dortmund, the first place team at first half of the 2010/2011 Bundesliga season.

Götze shone in the Germany U-17 when his team won the 2009 European Championiship. He also won the Fritz Walter award coz he was chosen the best young player of Germany in the same year.
The 18 years old midfielder was convocated for a friendly against Sweden on last year, marking his debut in die Nationalmannschaft. But the footballer has excelled himself is in bundesliga, unbalancing the game for the club from Dortmund city. ball control, intelligence, and refined technique are just some of the characteristics that mark the Mario Götze football.

So keep this name in mind coz you can see this boy at Brazilian stadiums in 2014.

Lewis Holtby

The basis of the succes of Mainz 05 in the early games were the team's young talent. And it stood out André Schürrle and Lewis Holtby. They impressed their country since the beginning of league for his ability.

Holtby was on at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Egypt 2009 and scored 3 goals on that competition. In just 9 matches at German championiship he had 7 assists and 2 goals.
His next step is the senior national team, which could come soon. “Players like (Andre) Schürrle and Holtby in Mainz have moved very close to the national team. It is great to see what is developing right now in Mainz,” German national team coach Joachim Löw told the Bild daily on 29 September 2010.

He already had his first chance in the end of the last year,  on a friendy against Sweden (the same one of Götze game). Actually, Lewis is the Germany U-21 captain.

2010: A fantastic year for "die Mannschaft"

wow already is 2011!!! =D

Certainly 2010 was a incredible year for die Mannschaft (German team). The third place on World Cup, the Golden Boot for Thomas Müller, one of the many youngs revelations on last year, to finish the year on the first place in its group in Euro 2012 qualifiers... It was more one great year for our dear team ^^

Can you imagine the German team with all these talented young footballers in Brazil or in Euro 2012? =D
To see players that impressed in South Africa at such a young age like Toni Kroos and Marko Marin with more experience. Müller for example, is named as the greatest revelation in world football in 2010. Brazil in 2010 didn't reveal that many players as Germany. So in my next post I'll write about these German boys that are shaking these Bundesliga season ^^)
